About Lawnboyz:
Serving Palestine Since 2015
How did Lawnboyz get started? It all began when Joseph and Zach noticed a growing need that many homeowners were looking for landscaping assistance. They needed help clearing their land, maintaining their trees and shrubs, and even repairing their equipment. There was a lot of work to be done, and it was then that the duo decided to work together. In 2015 they assembled their team of Lawnboyz.
About the Owners
Both Joseph Ponder and Zach Zajicek grew up enjoying the great outdoors.
Joseph grew up in Tyler, Texas as the son of a repair technician. After many years of watching his dad practice his craft, he decided that he wanted to go into the trades as well. He knew that working outdoors and helping people with landscaping was the way to go. Nowadays, he enjoys his time off by spending time outside and playing basketball with his wife and children.
Zach recounts that his earliest memories were also tied to tending the land. He distinctly remembers when he learned how to drive his grandfather’s tractor; along with helping his dad cut timber in northern Michigan’s logging forests. A fan of the outdoors himself, he is fond of spending time outside with his wife and family. They also enjoy spending time with their extended church family.

Our Story
In the fall of 2015, Lawnboyz began as a small, part-time residential mowing service. With time and practice, the team grew and strengthened their skills. They began tackling larger and more complex projects, gaining experience along the way. As they worked with a variety of homeowners and yards, they gained insight into all things landscaping.
Over the next several years, the Lord greatly expanded their residential and commercial landscaping business, adding two new service arms to their company: tree trimming and removal; and small engine equipment repair. Today, the team is proud to offer a full spectrum of landscaping services.
Locally Owned & Family Operated
When you work with Lawnboyz, you’ll not only receive top-quality landscaping services– but you can feel good about providing jobs for our local family business. We’re very grateful to work with our friends and neighbors. It’s an honor to serve families like yours.
We tend to each property as if it were our own. Unlike corporate landscaping companies that operate with heavy overhead and pass that cost along to you as the customer– we want to respect your finances. As your local family owned and operated business, we offer comprehensive services at a fraction of the price of a large company. Plus, because we’re a small but mighty team, we’re able to fully devote our time and expertise to you as our client.
Our thriving relationships with our customers are the reason why we’ve been able to sustain our business until today. We’re extremely thankful to work with residents of Palestine and the surrounding areas.
